Episode 11: Palestine and Pizza

This week we reflect on the war in Gaza.

Hello Listeners, welcome back to the Pink Notice for our second season! We took some time off after 10 episodes, and now we’re happy to be back for a fresh series of shows.

This week, we delve into our past and what led Mukisa into academia, and Akha down the path of engineering and coding. We explore our journeys and examine the decisions that led us here.

We then have a frank discussion on Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing on Palestinians and Gaza. We question the humanity—or lack thereof—behind the decisions that have led the region into the situation its inhabitants find themselves in today.

And finally, we have a great debate on what qualifies as pizza. Is it a universal taste element or is it subjective? Moreover, how do you pronounce Col’Cacchio?! Akha (and the correct pronunciation) might disagree with you. Listen in to find out.

As per usual, we hope you enjoyed the episode! Please do let us know if you did and if you’d like more in the future—or even if you didn’t and wouldn’t.
